Blue flags in 2026
- Playa de Velilla – our own beach right in front of Playa Tropical, long and wide with a promenade all the way.
- Playa Puerta del Mar – the town's main beach below the old town.
- Playa de San Cristóbal – to the west, separated from Caletilla by the cliffs Peñones de San Cristóbal.
- La Herradura – the horseshoe-shaped bay, popular for diving and kayaking.
- Los Berengueles – by Marina del Este.
Small gems
- Playa de la Caletilla – small beach by Peñón del Santo, where you can rent kayaks and paddleboards.
- Playa de Cotobro – small, cosy beach with chiringuitos.
- Calaiza and the coves at Cerro Gordo – easiest to reach from the water by kayak.
The beaches are stony or coarse-grained sand – bathing shoes are a good idea.
